The value of stock in Boeing Company has risen today, presumably because on Saturday, November 1st, 27,000 assembly workers voted to approve the company’s four-year contract offer. This move by workers ended an assembly-workers’ strike that stopped production at western Washington Boeing plants for nearly two months.
Turkey Is Proposing to Buy Boeing and Airbus Passenger-Planes
ANKARA, Turkey — Despite the flagging worldwide economy, Turkish Airlines would like to buy 105 airplanes from Boeing and/or Airbus, depending upon the proposals it receives.
